Bruce McBain's  IFG VT Kit

Mcbain.Bruce@mayo.edu

Dale, I can't tell you how great it is to find your web site.  My name is Bruce McBain, I have been dreaming of a Lambo for over 20 years.  I found an unassembled IFG PHanthom VT on the internet.  This past weekend my wife and I drove down to Charleston S.C. and brought it home.  I have not had time to do a complete inventory as yet to make sure I have everything, I recieved the videos and blueprints, but no build manual. Also IFG has not shipped a replacement windshield for the one damaged in the original shipment.  The donor (86GT) is stripped and ready to be stretched, kind of scary.  I have a balanced and blueprinted 327 Chevy with a Zumalt kit and 5 speed.  I also have the Compontive 17" wheels. Now for the questions.
Where did you purchase springs, shocks and bushings for rear of car?
Have you looked into larger brakes and stabalizer?
Where did you purchase the tires?
How tall are you, I am concerned about my heigth (6'3") and being
comfortable in the car, I have had several E-mail exchanges with Brandon
(at IFG), but he never directly answers my questions.
What transmission are you going to use?
Did you ever consider using one of these multi-core radiators and not
three seperate ones?
I was wondering what you were still waiting on from IFG?
There is a web site on original Lambo embems and parts, have you read what they say about the lighting and lens supplied with many kits, I have to say they look pretty cheap(the ones supplied in the kit that is).
I guess  I will give you a break, thats all for now.  Looking forward to hearing from you.  Thanks again.

Dale, I got your site from Kit Car On-line, I browse all the kit car sites regularly, trying to get the best info to make the right choices. It sounds like you put allot of thought into your choices, so I hope you don't mind all the questions.  I was wondering what you were going to do with your door windows, it is my understanding that they do not roll down.  I contacted IFG on the availability of a power window kit, but they only do something for turn-key cars.  We have family in Houston, and I picked up my Hot Air Balloon in Austin, maybe this winter we might visit family and sneak a peak at your project.  Also did you ever
consider remote door openers?  I see Summit offers a complete kit for $120 that you can open either door, it would be too cool to be walking towards this car and have the doors swing up for you.  Thanks again.
